Gas engines in lean operation (λ 1.5–1.7) produce less NOx than stoichiometric (λ 1.0); too low a Lambda increases NOx and the risk of knocking — the TecJet Lambda control (2G) maintains λ within the target corridor for optimal NOx compliance.
