What is a string current sensor?

> A string current sensor measures the current flow in the individual battery modules of a BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) according to IEC 62933. It enables precise monitoring of charging and discharging currents to ensure cell balance. Without accurate measurement data, the system cannot perform correct State-of-Charge (SoC) or State-of-Health (SoH) calculations.
