What is the State of Charge SoC?

> The State of Charge (SoC) is the primary key figure for determining the available capacity of a battery energy storage system (BESS). According to IEC 62933, it defines the current energetic fill level in relation to the total capacity. A precise SoC value is the technical basis for energy management and the economic utilization of the plant.
