What is an individual cell?

> Monitoring of individual cells in a battery storage system (BESS) is critical for system integrity according to IEC 62619. Each cell acts as the basic unit of capacity, whose individual state determines the overall lifespan of the storage system. Precise recording of cell voltage ensures pack homogeneity and prevents premature degradation.
